Weekly Kit Release July 3 'Adventure'

I really fell in love with this week's kit when I saw these papers. This kit features some of the really beautiful My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two Rosy papers mixed with some fantastic Tim Holtz Idea-ology embellishments. Here it is:

3 x My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two glittered patterned papers

2 x coordinating Bazzill cardstock

lots & lots of Tim Holtz Idea-ology brads in two different styles and sizes

A journalling ticket, also by Tim Holtz

Here is the first layout that I made:

Obviously one of the papers had a beautiful bicycle on it and I had some lovely photos of Sophie on her little bike so I used that as my background. Because of the embellishment already on the paper I kept the rest of the layout to a minimum. I also used some of the leftover trim I had from a previous kit just under the photos. I added a title using alphabet stickers from my stash.

Here is the second layout. I really like this one - I went a bit crazy with the brads but hey, there were loads of them so I figured why not! The glittery green grid paper was just perfect so I poked a brad through each gap.  I splattered some red ink onto the kraft cardstock first to liven up the background slightly and also added some buttons from last week's kit.
