Hey everyone, here is a new layout I made using the
beautiful new Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection Bloom & Grow. I cut my photo
into a circle shape and created a big floral cluster to one side. I mostly used
fussy cut flowers from that beautiful sheet of flowers, but also added some mulberry
flowers and some Ephemera – that little girl holding a bunch of flowers has my
heart! I also heat embossed one of the Raw Chipboard Titles. I used an embossing
powder called ‘passion’ which is a rose-gold colour, this turned out so well!
Thanks so much for joining me today and happy scrapping
Have you seen the new Simple Stories Say Cheese Classic Mouse
collection? It’s so exciting to have Mickey appear in a scrapbooking
collection! I loved the journaling card with the quote ‘Laughter is timeless,
Imagination has no end, and Dreams are forever’ so I used that as a focal
point, and used film strips above and below with lots of gorgeous
embellishments!
Hey everyone, here is another layout using the gorgeous Cider & Donuts collection by Simple Stories. I’ve used a enlarged photo, 12x12 in size! I
trimmed it down a bit and added a white border and then placed the photo onto
the pink plaid print.
I used lots of tags cut from the Tags Elements paper on this
layout. I cut them all out, distressed the edges and tied them through with
ribbon. I prefer to staple my ribbons through so that they are flat and don’t
create a bulky knot, which is what I did here.
I created a cluster of three tags in the top right corner of
my layout. I used this area to add another small photo.
I added two tags at the bottom of the layout too, in the
opposite corner. I used this area to add my title, which says ‘Hello Pumpkin’
and is from the Sentiment Bits pack.
To each cluster I added lots of pieces of Floral Bits and
other items from the Bits & Pieces pack, including a very cute squirrel!
I added acorns and pumpkins and hearts from the Foam
Stickers, I love that these not only come with lots of beautiful titles, but
also some smaller icons too. I also added some Decorative Brads to my clusters
and then I finished off with some splatters of gold paint.
Thanks so much for joining me today and happy scrapping!
Hi everyone, here is a new layout for Simple Stories, using
the stunning Cider & Donuts collection. I love Autumn themed collections,
they are perfect for all my pumpkin picking pictures!
I adore plaid designs so was instantly drawn to the plaid pattern to use as my background. I cut away a large diamond, and three more
smaller ones, to create apertures. I then mounted my paper onto white card so
the diamonds were backed with white.
I added my photo and two tags cut from the Tags Elements
paper, which I tied through with ribbons. I created a cluster using Floral Bits
and Bits & Pieces to the left of my photo.
I added a large title from the Foam Stickers – I love the
multi font with the different colours, these titles are gorgeous.
I then embellished the smaller apertures with some smaller
embellishments: chipboard pieces from the Decorative Brads, Foam Stickers and
some label stickers from the Cardstock Stickers.
I added some of the gorgeous Rub-Ons around the layout too –
I cut them off their background and place them into position to ensure I’m
happy with the placement before rubbing them with the wooden stick. I love all
the small details that come with the Rub-Ons.
I added a few Decorative Brads, handwrote a small amount of
journaling and also machine stitched with black thread all around the outside
edge of my layout. I finished off with a few splatters of gold paint.
I hope you like the layout, I really enjoyed making it
Hey everyone, here is my first ever layout with the beautiful
new Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection Bloom & Grow. The collection has a pack
of Raw Chipboard Titles and I dived straight into those! I popped out a few
from the backing, and decided to heat emboss them. I have a limited supply of
embossing powders (something that’s about to change!) and I choose a flat dark
blue colour. But I wanted it to have a sparkly finish, so I added some white
and silver embossing powders too to make it a sparkly blue – I think the
finished result looks more silver than blue but hey, I’m happy!
I choose that beautiful paper with the floral frame and
decided to use a small photo with my large title. I added Floral Ephemera to
two of the corner clusters, together with some gold fabric hearts, Ephemera and
a few fussy cut flowers from the Specialty Sheet. I also created a cluster on
the corner of the photo.
I embellished my title with Puffy Heart stickers and a few
labels from the Accessory Stickers and I finished off with splatters of gold
paint!

Here is my version of this fabulous sketch from For the Love of Pretty paper. I've used the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Meadow Flowers collection and focused on the pretty lilac tones. I used less photos than on the sketch and used a journaling card for one of those panels too. I hope you like it!
