I am so excited to be up for the first time today on the Shimmerz Paints blog! I've created this layout using Vibez, Shimmerz, Inklingz and Dazzlers - head over to find out more about how I did it and there's a process video too.
A few weeks ago I was absolutely delighted to be invited to join the Shimmerz Paints You Tube Education Team. I LOVE Shimmerz products, mainly becuase every single product shimmers and shines and I love anything that glitters! So I'm going to fit right in!
I recieved my Design Team kit and have done a Product Spotlight video on the products I recieved: Vibez, Shimmerz, Inklingz and Dazzlerz and I have filmed myself testing them out and making a swatch sheet which you can view below:
If you don't have any Shimmerz products yet, you should definitely get some! They are awesome. Enjoy the video and happy scrapping, Niki xx
Hey there, I'm up on the Silhouette UK blog again today but this time with a Travellers Notebook spread instead of a scrapbook layout! There is also a tutorial on how to use Print and Cut files so head over to check it out. I've used Paige Evans Print and Cut cut files (available in the Silhouette Design Store) and papers and embellishments from the Shimelle Glitter Girl Collection.
This month over at UK Scrap Addicts we are all following a sketch by PageMaps and showing how different our layouts turn out. I'm following fairly close to the original sketch althought I have adapted it to suit my style of scrapping.
There's a process video that can be seen below too - enjoy.
I'm up on the Silhouette UK blog today with a tutorial on how I made this title - check it out! I've used the Good Vibes Collection by Crate Paper to make this layout as well as a few bits and pieces from my stash.
Hey there! I'm excited to have been asked to Guest Design today on the Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine blog. I made a layout. Today they are giving away a free Snowflakes cut file and I have made a layout using it.
I started off by cutting one large snowflake from white card. I then cut several more, but smaller and from vellum. I arranged the vellum snowflakes onto my layout and marked them with a pencil. I then removed them all and used the packaging technique and water colour paints to add splodges under the sowflakes. Once the background was dry I added the gorgeous vellum snowflakes back onto the layout. I stitched through each one using gold thread.
I used Pinkfresh Studio December Days to embellish my layout, added gold sequins and used a gold ink pad and snowflake stamps to add extra detail to my background.
Head over to the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog to see more, get the free cut file and see loads of other inspirational posts by the Design Team over there.
Hey there, I'm up on the GoGo Getaway Blog today with my take on using Artist Inks in scrapbooking - I coloured the giant chipboard word with them. Head over to check it out.
