Adventure | Cocoa Vanilla Studio | Legendary Collection

 

Hey everyone, I was delighted to find some of the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Legendary collection in my daughter’s scrapbooking stash! I opted for a large circle cut from the green striped paper and mounted on the dark brown woodgrain. I then cut part of the circle away, making space for my title.

I created a ‘glow’ with green ink below where my photo and embellishment cluster was going to go, then I added my photo, a woodgrain frame and a few pieces of ephemera, including lots of stars and arrows. I added enamel dots and some phrase stickers from the Accessory Stickers and finished off with my journaling and splatters of black paint!

Holiday Happy | Bramble Fox

 

Big tropical florals and happy holidays make for a fun beachy layout! I’ve used the gorgeous new ‘Holiday Happy’ title which is new to the shop and some pretty summer bits to match. The paper collection is Just Beachy by Simple Stories and these Perspextives compliment that perfectly!

I started with some stencilling using the August Fox Box Plus stencil, which is a quilted pattern. I created two areas of stencilling, under where my clusters would go. I then added large florals and some tags together with my photos to make this split design. I added my title in the middle of the two photo clusters, something I wasn’t sure about doing but I love how it turned out!

True Adventure | Simple Vintage Meadow Flowers | Simple Stories

 

Have you seen the pretty Simple Vintage Linen Market collection by Simple Stories? I adore all the ginghams and the pretty soft colours! For this layout I made a central square with tags and a big photo and of course I added lots of flowers!

These are the Days | Simple Vintage Linen Market | Simple Stories

 

Hi everyone, this is my second layout using Simple Vintage Linen Market, I have cut out one of the beautiful pattens on one of the 12x12 papers to use as a feature – I love the patchwork look in this collection with the machine stitching and ricrac details, it’s just so lovely!

I added the big piece to the layout and added my photo, and then built up my embellishment clusters from there using it isa base.

I added some of the beautiful textured rub-ons under the big strip, and under where some of the embellishments would go. I love doing this as it really adds another layer of dimension.

I used one of the Layered Chipboard Stickers as my title – I love the saying ‘these are the days’ and having that printed on a cute clipboard was ideal! I layered this with another one of the mini tags from the 6x8 paper pad.

I then added some flowers from the Bits & Pieces together with some butterflies and hearts. I also added some of the bugs and bees from the Foam Stickers.

I finished off the layout by adding some Decorative Brads and some splatters of black paint. I also handwrote my journaling onto the bucket!

So Sweet | Simple Vintage Linen Market | Simple Stories

 

Hi everyone! Here is a new layout for Simple Stories using the very beautiful Simple Vintage Linen Market! I love the pretty but bold colours in this collection, that combination has my heart!

I decided to create a circular design using patterns from the 6x8 Paper Pad. I used metal dies to cut the circles. I also cut my photos into semi-circles and layered them onto the patterned circles. I added a border down the straight edge with the scalloped boarder sticker from the Cardstock Stickers.

I fussy cut some of the pretty florals from one of the 12x12 papers and used these as embellishments to tuck under the circles. I also used some of the gorgeous rub-ons as layers too.

 My title is one of the Foam Stickers ‘so sweet’ and I added another two of the smaller titles from the Foam Stickers too: ‘the little things’ and ‘life is good’. I also added some of the smaller stickers such as hearts and bees.

Have you seen that in the Simple Vintage Linen Market 6x8 paper pad, the tags paper is in there in miniature? The tiny tags are just adorable and of course I couldn’t resist using those! I cut up a few and tucked them into my circles – I added a little bit of red gingham trim to each one with my tiny stapler.

I finished off by adding a few Decorative Brads and some splatters of black paint! I hope you have enjoyed this layout, I loved making it and love how it turned out!

A Moment in Time | Cocoa Vanilla Studio | Unforgettable Collection

 

Hey everyone, here is a new layout I made using the gorgeous Unforgettable collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I have used some CVS cut files, available for digital download on their website. I cut the floral cut files in white, added some pink ink to my background to make them show up and then added lots of beautiful floral ephemera and fussy cut florals on top.

I layered in a circular frame and a small photo and then also created a smaller cluster over on the right edge of the layout. I finished off with my handwritten journaling, sequins and splatters of black paint.

Summer Shenanigans | Bramble Fox | August Fox Box

 

Enjoy some summer fun with this Summer Shenanigans layout! I’ve used the August Fox Box for this layout: the stencil is from the Fox Box Plus and the title, turtle, crab and starfish are main Fox Box – how adorable is that crab!

I’ve used the Just Beachy collection by Simple Stories – I never have a shortage of beach photos! My photo for this layout is of my husband giving my children and a friend, a very big silly squeeze on the beach, maybe more of a rugby tackle!  So the ‘crazy fun’ smaller title in the August Fox Box went really well so I have that pointing towards the photo!
