Hey everyone! Here is another layout using Pinkfresh Studio
Happy Heart collection! I went for a pink background paper and started off by
making a starburst feature onto the background using a stencil and some
Distress Oxide ink and I outlined it with a pen too to really make it stand
out.
I added some Happy Heart torn paper across the middle of the
page together with some twine and I sat my photos on this line.
I added loads of floral ephemera on the left side of the
page as well as tucking in various other embellishments like some chipboard
frames, wood veneer stickers, ephemera and labels.
I made a title using one of the words from the Phrase
Ephemera and some of the very beautiful gold puffy Alphabet Stickers.
I added loads of Bramble Fox pink stars, Spiegelmom Scraps
Sequins and splatters of white paint.
I think this one turned out really fun…perfect to go with
the photos!
Thank you so much for joining me today and happy scrapping
Hi guys, I’m back with another layout for Lottie Loves Paper
using the very beautiful Happy Heart collection by Pinkfresh Studio.
This layout was planned to look very different to how it
turned out! In the end I used a pretty floral circle cut file by Peartree Cutfiles,
cut in white. I’ve used white card for my background but added three colours of
Distress Oxide Ink underneath each of the three circles on the cut file. I cut
out lots of circles from the Happy Heart paper with the circle pattern and used
these to build upon the colours in the layout.
I raised the cut file on foam pads to give it dimension and
then began embellishing the layout in a colour-on-colour fashion. I’ve used
floral ephemera, the cardstock stickers, chipboard frames, a few words from the
Phrase Ephemera and then I added lots of enamel dots and sequins.
The three colours together worked so well and I was super
happy with how this layout turned out!
Hey everyone! I’m sharing the layout I recently made for the
April GoGo Getaway Cybercrop colour challenge. I’ve used the No Limits
collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio.
I choose a dark background for my layout, that fabulous
paper with the black background and lots of little stars. On the reverse of
this paper were lots of concentric circles. I couldn’t use both sides (!) so
had to use a second sheet of the same paper!
I used the black stars as my background, and then fussy cut
all the circles out from the other side of the second sheet and layered those
onto the background. I distressed the edges of these and also added machine
stitching.
I cut around the subject on my photos which turned out super
cute! I tucked those photos into the layout and then added lots of stars and
rockets. I made the little flying saucer ephemera by piecing together papers
from the 6x8 paper pad, it turned out so cute!
I finished off by adding the little red Bramble Fox monster
who I’ve had in my stash for ages and added splatters of white paint.
Thanks so much for joining me today and happy scrapping
Hi everyone! Here is a layout for Lottie Loves Paper using
Pinkfresh Studio Happy Heart collection. This collection is so very pretty and
I’m loving creating with it.
For this layout I’ve used a busy floral paper as a central
feature on the layout. I’ve also used a cut file by Peartree Cutfiles for my
title. I backed the cut file with vellum, mounted it onto a strip of blue Happy
Heart paper (the reverse of the pink floral) and added it to the layout.
I’ve added machine stitching around the edge of the floral
paper and have embellished the cut file with a couple of butterflies and
chipboard stickers.
Around my photo I created a cluster using one of the wood
veneer stickers, chipboard frames and label stickers.
I tucked some floral ephemera into the two sides of the
layout – I love floral ephemera, it’s so pretty and easy to use!
I have also played along with the Pinkfresh Studio April Challenge which is a pretty moodboard with the added element of using geometric shapes - I've used a big square as the feature on the layout and have a few square frames tucked behind my photo. I was mostly inspired by the colours and the pretty florals.
Hi everyone, here is a cute little mini album using the new
Simple Stories Summer Lovin’ collection. I fell in love with this collection
the moment I saw it because it resonates so perfectly with my life. With young
children, we spend a lot of time in our garden in the summer months and on
those super hot days, they like nothing better than to get the sprinkler,
paddling pool and hose out and have a water fight! The Summer Lovin’ collection
is so perfect for those memories.
I decided to make a mini album today in the shape of a
watermelon slice. This shape was inspired by the collection but also we eat a
lot of watermelon in the summer so that worked well. I settled on a slice
rather than a semi-circle and bound it altogether with wire binding.
I made the pages using the Summer Lovin’ 6x8 paper pad. First
I made a slice shaped template out of white card and I used that to draw around
all the patterned papers. I drew around the shape twice on each paper so that I
had two joined together. I could then fold these in half to make a double-sided
slice shape. I added machine stitching around each of the mini album pages.
For the front and back covers I cut a piece of acetate to
the same size and sewed cute watermelon sequins inside to make shaker pages. I
also added the green and white watermelon details on the curved edge of each of
the covers.
For one page I didn’t add machine stitching on the curved edge.
This make a pocket page so I made a smaller slice-shaped page to slot in and
out of that pocket.
For two pages I cut off the top edge where the binding would
be on the folded-over piece, to make pages that folded down to reveal more
content. Perfect for adding more photos and gorgeous embellishments.
I embellished the album with ALL the things! I absolutely
love the foam title stickers so used a lot of these throughout the album. On
the front cover I added two of the foam titles, plus some foam flowers. I also
added puffy stickers and label stickers from the Cardstock Stickers.
I don’t mind a chucky mini album so have used chipboard
stickers, foam stickers, decorative brads and I’ve also popped up my photos and
cardstock stickers on foam pads too! I love how the album has turned out, it’s
super cute and I love all the fun memories that are captured within! I could
make another 10 layouts with this collection I think too!
Thank you so much for joining me today and happy scrapping
This is a Sea Life Mini Album for a GoGo Getaway Moodboard challenge. At every retreat we set challenges for the delegates to enter. I set this moodboard challenge and made this mini album as my example inspiration.
I've used the Under Sea Adventures collection by Echo Park
Paper, absolutely amazing Perspextives by Bramble Fox, cut files by Peartree
Cutfiles and sequins by Spiegelmom scraps.
