Weekly Kit Release: 'Staccato'

Wednesday again which means it's time for another weekly kit release! This week we have a gorgeous kit featuring some of the Kaisercraft 'Chanteause' range. It's called 'Staccato' and here it is:

The kit contains:

3 x Kaisercraft patterned papers

2 x coordinating Bazzill cardstock

Mini Kaisercraft Alpha Stickers

Assortment of green buttons

Brown Sugar 'Divine Twine' bakers twine.

Here is the first layout I made using this kit:

I used the mini Alpha Stickers to write in my journalling but they were a bit small for a title so I raided my past kits for some larger alpha stickers for a title. I punched the leaves and added buttons tied through with the bakers twine for embellishments.

And here is my second layout. I had to add the sheet of pink for my background and also the large alpha stickers I've used for the title but other than those everything is from the kit.

I layered a number of the patterned papers, both a. and b. sides to create the background - I inked the edges to make them stand out as they got a bit lost against each other before.  The top right corner looked a little bare so I used a few of my patterned paper scraps to make this little embellishment cluster - cute!
