Bouncing Baby!

Morning morning!

Today I have last week's UK Scrappers challenge layout to share. I wanted to post it on Sunday but unfortunately I had internet issues which appear to have been resolved now so here I am today instead.

I struggled with this challenge. It was the sketch. I usually love sketches but this one for some reason just didn't come together easily for me. I think it was the multiple photos. Even though the person who set the challenge said it was ok to use just the one photo or as many as you wanted, I had a series of photos that I thought would work so I thought I'd have ago at this one using the full 5 photos.

The other parts of the challenge were to use chipboard, to use sewing, real or faux and to use washi tape.

Here was the layout I eventually made. I came back to it time and time again but I am still not happy with it! I don't usually have this problem, I can usually save any layout that's gone a bit wrong but this one has defeated me!

I guess it's ok, just not one of my best or favourite layouts that's all! I'm not going to pull it apart or anything, it will go in Sophie's album, I'll just turn that page a bit quicker than the others!

I've used chipboard butterflies, used kraft coloured washi tape (yum!) and used faux stitching on the circles and on the green patterned paper. Challenge risen to - just!

  2. This is really lovely Nicki. Our sketch seems to have been a challenge for most folks. I know I came back to my layout time and time again until I got it the way I wanted it. Thanks for sticking with it :)
