Autumn | Hip Kit Club | October 2021 Kits

 

Hey everyone! Here is a new layout for Hip Kit Club using the October 2021 Kits. You can find the October Kits on the Hip Kit Club website here: https://www.hipkitclub.net/october-2021

I am focusing on items from the Color Kit today and the diamond chipboard frames. I started off with that amazing paper from the October kit – the one with the faux mixed media, how cool is that! I then added to the mixed media effect by using the leaf stencil from the October Color Kit and applied orange and peach ink to create pretty leaves over the paint effect. I then sprayed the whole background with the Nuvo Mica Mist in Pecan Peach and added large drops of the same. I dried this with a heat tool and also heated the other side of the paper to counteract the warping.

I added three photos, all mounted on Pocket Life journaling cards and I added lots of the diamond frames. I love how these nest. I layered them inside each other in a vertical formation.

I then added lots of beautiful ephemera, mostly leaves and flowers and some pumpkins too. I curled the leaves for dimension. I also added some of the pretty wood veneer leaves that have gold detailing. For my title I used one of the chipboard phrases ‘Autumn’.

I finished off with beautiful Nuvo Crystal Drops in Auburn Pearl from the October Color Kit which I dotted al l over the layout and I also added a few splatters of white paint.
