Hey
everyone! Here is a new layout for Lottie Loves Paper using the beautiful
Bungalow Lane collection by Paige Evans. I am also playing along with this week’s
Sketch challenge which you can join in with over on the Lottie Loves Paper
Community Facebook Group.
I started off
by cutting a large circle aperture from a patterned paper. Initially I was
aiming for a pink and orange colour scheme but when I flipped the paper over I
just fell in love with the blue! So that became my background. I handcut the
circle after drawing it first with a compass.
I mounted
my two photos and added them to the bottom right of the page and I had lots of
pink fussy cut flowers from another Bungalow Lane paper which I arranged around
the photos.
I made a
cluster at the top with two squares from the swatches paper. I added Bramble
Fox Pumpkins and the Pumpkin Patch sign. I also embellished with Bungalow Lane
Chipboard, Cardstock Stickers and two of those beautiful crepe paper leaves. I
also added some stickers from the sticker book.
For my
title I used the Bungalow Lane alphabet Thickers. I mounted these first onto pink
card and cut them out leaving a narrow border. This was to help them stand out
against all the details behind them.
I finished
off with some journaling…different questions that were asked when doing the
very serious job of selecting the perfect pumpkin! I also added a few white
splatters.
Thanks so
much for joining me today and I hope you enjoy this week’s sketch
Happy
scrapping
Niki xx
