Hi everyone, I have a new layout for Hip Kit Club to share today using the absolutely amazing November 2020 Kits. You can find them on the Hip Kit Club website here.
Today's assignment is Mixed Media Monday with the additional challenge of 'so sparkly'.
I started off with a sheet of white card. I then created a large area of mixed media by using the Lindy's Magical 'Rudolph's Red Nose' powder. I sprinkled some of the powder onto my background then spritzed it with water to spread the colour - the result is so fun! I added a couple of other colours of Lindy's Magicals from previous color kits too.
I then added the beautiful Nuvo Glimmer Paste through one of the stencils from the November Stencil Kit, This added a LOT of sparkle to my background.
I cut the candy cane cut file from red cardstock and backed it with white card and pink patterned paper. I then filled in the berries using the Shimmering Rose Nuvo Crystal Drops - I love how this looks.
I positioned the cut file and my four little photo onto my layout. I added flowers and chipboard tucked around my photos. I love the exclusive die cuts this month, there are so many and they are amazing!
I finished off by adding splatters made with the Nuvo Jade Mountain Shimmer Powder (mixed with water) and I also added lots of Mustard Gold Nuvo Crystal Drops too. While these were still wet I sprinkled some loose gold glitter from my stash over them and around the layout - the result is one sparkly layout!
