You're My Sunshine | Hip Kit Club Product Focus: Colour

 

Hi everyone, here is a new layout for Hip Kit Club using the February 2021 Kits. I’ve also used an exclusive cut file called ‘Tile Lace’ which can also be found on the website. My assignment today was Product Focus but instead of focusing on a specific product I was to focus on colours: grey, yellow, blue and woodgrain. I have absolutely fallen in LOVE with this colour scheme, it’s gorgeous!

I went through the February kits and pulled out all the things in those colours. There wasn’t much grey but there was one sheet of paper and some stickers too. I used the paper for a border around a white background. I also used this paper to mount my photo.

I cut the Tile Lace cut file twice: once from woodgrain paper and once from yellow card. I offset these and stuck them in the middle of my background.

I added my photo together with a Simple Stories Hello Today woodgrain frame, and a yellow tag from the Exclusive labels and tags embellishments. I added additional labels from this set too and pulled out an exclusive title ‘You’re my Sunshine’ which was lovely. I added that to the right side of my layout.

I then added fussy cut flowers from a Pinkfresh Studio paper and a fussy cut rainbow and some ephemera leaves. I then added some of the clear sticker hearts which were a Hip Kit Club exclusive. I stuck the first to white card and then fussy cut them out so I could position them easier on my layout and also raise them up on foam pads.
