Hi
everyone, here is a new layout for Lottie Loves Paper using the beautiful
Garden Party collection by Maggie Holmes. I’m also playing along with this week’s
sketch challenge.
I wanted to
use the bold florals on my layout and instead of the paper tearing at the top
of the sketch, I decided to showcase this beautiful paper. I cut a large
triangle shaped section for the top of my layout and then added my photos to the
point.
I added tags
from the Garden Party cut apart sheet behind the photos and mounted the photos
using another Garden Party paper. I added fussy cut florals at the bottom of my
photos and some florals from the ephemera too. I also added chipboard flowers
to this layout and some chipboard bows. I always enjoy using chipboard pieces
from a collection – I feel that they add great dimension.
Above my
photos I added some label stickers and at the bottom of my photos I added my
title which is a sticker from the cardstock sticker sheet. I raised this on
foam pads and then extended the title with the word ‘Day’ using black Thickers.
I finished off
the layout with a couple of lilac Bramble Fox flowers and a Cute Camera plus
two glittery gold resin hearts from Garden Party collection – I think these are
my favourite thing! I added a few sequins (Spring Fling by Spiegelmom Scraps)
and some gold splatters.
