Hi everyone, here is a new layout for Hip Kit Club using the
February 2021 Kits. You can

exclusive cut file called ‘The Fun Squad’ which can also be found on the website.
I wanted to create a boy layout today and some of the
elements in the February 2021 kits were perfect for this. I decided to go for a
dark background which I splattered first with white paint. I set this to one
side to dry and went to work on the other elements of my layout.
I cut the title ‘the fun squad’ from white card. I wanted to
back it with a patterned paper but I didn’t have one in the right shade that
worked so I reached for a piece of green card from my stash. This worked
perfectly.
I cut up the Pinkfresh Studio Some Days cut apart sheet as
all the greens and blues were ideal. I mounted my photos onto journaling cards
and then arranged the two photos together with the tickets, labels and cards
from the cut apart sheet across the dark background in a horizontal design. I
added the cut file title under my photos.
I then added chipboard flair from the Some Days collection
and lots of stickers from the same collection. I love some of the words, things
like ‘fresh air’ ‘get ready, set, GO’, ‘adventure time’ were all perfect for
this layout about three little boys hunting for dinosaurs!
I finished the layout by adding strips of Some Days paper at
the top and bottom of the dark background and I also added splatters in Tickle
Me Turquoise Shimmerz paint from the February Color Kit. I also punched a few
leaves from green and blue papers and tucked these into the elements on my
layout.
