Morning Campers!
I'm starting a stock take today ready for the next show I'm exhibiting at: Stamperama, which is next weekend. Big 'yawn' to the stock take but I'm really looking forward to the show. It takes place in Stevenage which is really close to me so hopefully I will meet lots of lovely local crafty people!

Anyway onto today's post. This week over at UK Scrappers we had to choose a layout from Scrapdolly's gallery and scraplift it for the full points allowance. Here is the fabulous layout I choose to scraplift:

I've been working on a few wedding layouts lately and I had this gorgeous My Mind's Eye paper which was perfect for a layout about my dress. I have put off using this paper because it was so pretty I didn't want to cover much of it up so the sewing lines were absolutely perfect as they created a background without covering the beautiful paper beneath.
I added some dimension to the layout using ribbon, foam Thickers stickers and a mini bulldog clip to this little photo:
and some charms down here...
and put a huge swirl of crystals in the centre of the layout and finished off with a title. I've got a few little journalling notes around the page
I am really really pleased with this layout and it's going to make a fabulous addition to my wedding album that's coming on nicely. Thanks for looking!
that dress is beautiful Niki as is your fabulous page. I was just wondering if you were planning on exhibiting anywhere else (eg Ally Pally or Sandown Park) so I could possibly pop along and say'Hi Teamie'!?
ReplyDeletethat page is stunning. So is the dress by the look of the photos. I need to get some motivation to start my wedding album. Actually i think it is a bit daunting because I enjoyed the day so much, I'm not sure where to start. Where did you start? Or is it kind of piecemeal until you have all your photos scrapped?
