A Couple of Layouts...

Tuesday, 7 August 2012

I have a couple of layouts to share today. Every month (usually) I run a scrapbooking class for my lovely local ladies and this month's one took place on Saturday just gone. I had 9 in total which in my little craft room was a bit of a squeeze but we managed quite well I think.

I usually do a complete random mix of layouts without any theme but this time I decided to make each layout using photos of the photography class I went on recently with Kirsty Wiseman

We started off by learning how to take portrait shots and of course Kirsty had to be our model, something I don't think she was entirely comfortable with! I managed to get this photo which I think was actually very lovely and here is the layout I made with it:

There wasn't much room for journalling on this layout so I made a little pocket to put a couple of tiny journalling tickets in. They just contain the date, where we were and that we were learning portrait shots.

Here is the second layout of the class focusing on the continual shots we took on the photography class:

I printed all the photos in black and white as they looked so much more arty that way, and also made them all tie in well with each other. She grey tones in the photos go really well with the papers used here as well.

I hope you like them, I have two more layouts from Saturday's class to share but will do so another day!
