Layout to Share

Tuesday 5 June 2012

Hi Everyone

I have a layout to share with you today. I made this a few weeks ago to a challenge on UK Scrappers. I had to use black & white with a splash of yellow, I had to use two photos, I had to use something old and something new and I had to incorporate something from the magpie rhyme...you know the one: One for sorrow, Two for joy, Three for a girl, Four for a boy etc. Well Nine is for a kiss:

I love these two photos of us on our wedding day. It was, by far, the best day of my life. Everything was totally perfect and I think these pictures sum that up quite well.

Those ribbon roses are absolutely stunning and went really well on my embellishment cluster to the left of the phtotos.

I cut out the work 'Adore' from one of the patterned papers I used and incorporated it into my title together with some Teeny Alphas by Glitz and lush foam Thickers.

I thought the top right corner was a bit bare so to finish off my layout I added a small piece of ric rac and a flower embellishment

Have a wonderful Bank Holiday Tuesday (Tuesday?, huh, really?) whatever you are up to. I'm off to a BBQ with our NCT group: there will be 7 couples and 7 babies - I am expecting chaos!

Stop back tomorrow for my weekly scrapbooking kit release.
