You've Got This | Hip Kit Club | Moodboard Inspired

 

Hey everyone, I'm back with a new layout and video to share today for Hip Kit Club. I'm using the September 2020 kits for this layout and it has also been inspired by the October moodboard.

There were various elements that inspired me from the moodboard for this layout. The image with the frames has two tables, one has slats and the other is a trolly with cross-frame legs - the diagonal element of this plus the slats on the other table inspired me to use the Maggie Holmes paper with the diagonal lines. I made this a feature on my layout by cutting it in a diagonal design across the top corner of my layout.

There are also houses on the moodboard so I included some of the houses from Maggie Holmes Marigold - they reminded me of school buildings and this is a back to school layout so they were perfect.

There are also leaves on the moodboard so I have included lots of beautiful Days of Splendor leaves on my layout.

And one of the frames has the wording 'you got this' so I adapted this slightly to 'you've got this' and have used this is as my title.

I also added a number of frames from the Days of Splendor paper fussy cut and a wooden frame too because of the image on the moodboard with all the frames on it.

So much inspiration from one moodboard!

I used a little mixed media underneath my photo from the September Color Kit. I rolled back the diagonal paper so that my photo would peek out from underneath, representing my little boy's apprehension of going back to school.
