Hey everyone, I have a new layout for Hip Kit Club today using the September kits.
Today’s assignment is Mixed Media Monday so I have used the September Color Kit. I started with a white background and added the three colours of Lindy’s Magicals to the background. I kept the area quite small (too small!) and then added splatters.
I cut my photo into a heart shape using metal dies and mounted it onto another slightly larger heart shape using the next sized-up die. I positioned the photo in the centre of my layout and the started adding in ALL the leaves and flowers that were in the Pinkfresh Studio ephemera from the September kits. I got a bit carried away and ended up with a very busy layout that bursts out from the centre focal point which is my photo.
I added more splatters around the edges of my florals and leaves and also added some cute critters. I added a title from the gold Thickers phrases which I mounted first onto white card so that it would stand out against my very busy layout.
