Sketch Saturday - Man Tree

Saturday 6 October 2012

Morning all. Wow what a day I have ahead of me - 15 people are coming to my class today which is my annual 'Get Ready for Christmas' workshop. I have never had such a big group all at once before. Usually I run the big ones over two days but this time EVERYONE is coming today. That means two groups, 8 people upstairs in my craft room and 7 people downstairs in my conservatory. I am going to be getting very fit running between the two!  Everyone will be making 30 Christmas cards each today - yes 30, plus a little bonus project. I know, this is a lot but I have confidence we will get it all done!

Anyway, on to this week's Sketch Saturday challenge:

and here is my DT entry. I have recently discovered Little Claire stamps. I've seen them around for quite some time but didn't actually own any and then I saw them at one of the shows and I bought some. And then I went back for some more, and now I have quite a collection! Oops.  This one is the Man Tree which is obviously awesome for all males!

I used some very manly striped brown ribbon across the middle and finished off with a sentiment printed on my PC.

This week's challenge is being sponsored by the wonderful Little Claire Designs so pop on over to their site to see some more of their fabulous images.

Right, off to prepare 15 rounds of sandwiches for later...!

  1. Great card, Niki. Love that paper and really loving the font on the homemade sentiment! x
