Only Scraps Allowed...Butterflies

Monday 1 October 2012

Afternoon all. I'm late posting today as I'm late with pretty much everything right now - I've got a lot on and am just about staying afloat! I'm having a really good catch up today today thought so fingers crossed I shall be back on track quite soon.

This week's Only Scraps Allowed challenge is to use butterflies on your layout - a very easy one this week! They can be punched, chipboard, on a patterned paper etc.

I had some outdoors photos to scrap today and pulled out a few bright scraps that I thought would go:

I have sort of cheated on this one as I have used two full sheets to create my background. In my Only Scraps Allowed layouts I'm trying to use up some of my older papers and the background paper I wanted to use for this layout was just too flimsy to use as a background so I trimmed it and stuck it on green card to give it stability.

If you would like to join in this week's challenge then make a layout using paper scraps (one whole sheet allowed for the background) and incorporate butterflies somehow onto your layout, then link your work below.

That's it - a very quick post from me today as I have got to go hang up 4 loads of washing and cut almost 500 kits for a card making class I'm holding this week (I think it's about 496 to be precise) so I could be there all night.

  1. Fabulous page, You've only used 1 sheet of paper, the cardstock doesn't count really and it's a great way of using up stash anyway! Love your pages so much like my style so I find it easy to follow along!
