Morning Lovelies

Friday = another installment of 52 Layouts Step-by-Step. Here's what you need to join in this week:
3 x patterned papers
2 x card
a few flowers
a few buttons
twine or thread
2 x photos
2 x alphabet stickers, large and small
sticky pearls (not pictured)

Step 1:
Choose a background pattern and ink the edges.

Step 2:
Cut a piece of cardstock down to 11.5" square, ink the edges and stick down. (I thought I'd mount card onto patterned paper this week rathee than the other way around for a slightly different look)

Step 3:
Cut another piece of patterned paper into an approx 10" square - if you have templates then cut it into a pretty shape then cut off the left and bottom edges. Ink the edges and stick this to the layout. (Ignore the dodgy bit in the bottom left corner of mine, I'm using a rubbish trimmer and this paper was quite thin so it tore but I'm going to cover it up so it doesn't matter!)

Step 4:
Cut another patterned paper into a strip 11.25"x2". Ink the edges and stick down.

Step 5
Look up and take in the view from your balcony (sorry couldn't resist!) then mount two 6x4 portrait photos onto a piece of card 8.25x6.25". Ink the edges and stick to the layout.

Step 6
Add some flowers at three points around your photos.

Step 7
Tie twine or thread through your buttons, then stick them into the centre of a few of your flowers. (I've lost a few of my buttons so only ended up with two in the end!)

Step 8
Stick pearls in the centres of all remaining flowers:

Step 9
Add a title.

Step 10
Write in your journaling:

And here's the finished layout!
