This week's kit features some of the 'En Francais' range by Prima Marketing, a really gorgeous range that is full of lovely red and blue tones with browns and kraft to make a really sophisticated look:
The kit contains:
3 x En Francais patterned papers
2 x coordinating cardstock
1 x My Minds Eye Lush Alphabet
My first layout involved a lot of fussy cutting and a little bit of tearing, distressing and inking. I used up some smaller alphabet stickers from a previous kit to put emphasis on the main word in my title. Even though this layout took me ages and was quite complicated in the end I love the result and it was definitely worth the effort. I have used up some leftover 'futterbits' also from the En Francais collection that were in a previous kit but if you don't have those punching some butterflies from leftover papers would work just as well.
My second layout was a bit less involved! I didn't have much of the kit left as I used most of it in the first layout and I had to add a sheet of vanilla for the background as I'd used both my pieces of card. The background was looking a little plain so I jazzed it up a bit by spraying a mist from the centre up towards the top right corner.
Kirei's layout also involves some fussy cutting and she has also used up some bits from previous kits, I recognize those alphabet stickers, that trim and crochet circles! Take a look at her blog for more details on how she put it together.
