OMG It is my 30th birthday today - I am spending today chasing across London to pick up my birthday present (an eternity ring), then having lunch with some friends and then going out for a fancy meal tonight, oh and not to mention mourning the loss of my 20s.
From a 30th birthday to a 1st: here is this week's 52 Layouts tutorial.
You will need:
Two patterned papers
One piece of cardstock
Border stickers
Alphabet stickers, large & small
Three portrait photos
Step 1
Choose a background and ink the edges.
Step 2
Stick three portrait photos across the layout
Step 3
Cut a strip of patterned paper 1 x 12" and stick underneath the photos
Step 4
Cut another strip of the same patterned paper to 2 x 12" and stick it across the top of the photos.
Step 5
Cut a strip of cardstock 1/2" x 12" and stick it across the bottom of the photos
Step 6
Cut another strip of the same patterned paper 3/4" x 12" and stick it across the top of the photos.
Step 7
Create a pretty bit at the top: the pink piece is 3/4 x 2 1/2" and the kraft bit is 1/2" x 2".
Step 8
Add border stickers where desired.
Step 9
Add a title.
Step 10
Hand write in a subtitle and your journaling.
And here it is all finished - a nice easy one today, certainly nothing taxing here!
Right I'm off to catch train - Sophie's first train journey, I'd better take my camera!
Happy scrapping xx
