52 Layouts #24 Quick Dip

Morning All

Near disaster just averted - my laptop screen went black last night and wouldn't come back on despite many attempts at turning off then on again so I've been on the phone to the Banbury IT Wizard this morning who fixed it over the phone, what an awesome guy!  So that's why I'm late posting and why my craft room is looking particularly tidy!

On to this week's 52 Layouts. We're up to installment 24 and this week you will need:
One piece of patterned paper (double sided or two pieces if you like)
One piece of cardstock
Some stickers
Some trims and a buckle
Alphabet stickers, large & small
2 x portrait 6x4 photos and 5x landscape 6x4 photos

Step 1
Choose a background and ink the edges. Also gut 4 3/4 x 8 1/2" out of the left side.

Step 2
Ink the edges of the gutted piece and stick on to the layout.

Step 3
Add your trims along the bottom - mine don't show up too well but they are there I promise!

Step 4
Trim your portrait photos so they each measure 5 3/4 x 3 3/4" and mount onto cardstock 6 x 7 3/4". Stick to layout.

Step 5
Cut your remaining cardstock to 6x12" and score twice so you have three panels each measuring 6x4".

Step 6
Trim your landscape photos to 3 3/4 x 5 3/4" and stick one to every panel except the back one which you should stick to your layout. See the photos below to see how it should look when opened out.

Step 7
On the front of your fold out piece, stick your buckle and make holes through the photo.

Step 8
Tie your trims through the buckle.

Step 9
Embellish your layout in a couple of places using stickers.

Step 10
Add a title.

And here is the finished layout - hope you like it and please feel free to play along!
