Morning all!
Friday means time for another 52 Layouts and I have a wedding one today in some really beautiful shades of turquoise.
To join in this week you will need:
3 x patterned paper
1 x card (plus another small strip not pictured in another colour)
1 x 6x4 portrait photo
Some embellishments: butterflies or something similar
Alphabet stickers.
Step 1
Choose a background and gut a piece from the middle about 7x5.5".
Step 2
Cut patterned paper to 11.75x9" and stick to the bottom of the layout.
Step 3
Cut a strip of coloured card to 1.25x12" and stick across the layout.
Step 4
Cut a piece of patterned paper to 1 x 12 and stick this in the middle of the strip already stuck.
Step 5
Cut a circle from another patterned paper to approximately 4.75" diameter and stick to layout.
Step 6
Mount a 6x4 portrait photo onto patterned paper 6.5x4.5" and stick to layout.
Step 7
Add a couple of butterflies (the ones I've used are super gorgeous by the way, they are by 'Recollections' which I believe is only available in Michaels stores in the US - boo hiss!)
Step 8
Add a title using alphabet stickers. I had to mount mine onto cream card first because they blended into the background too much. I also didn't have an 'and' sign in my alphas so I had to go looking for another one!
Step 9
Add strips of journaling using the card cut from the background sheet earlier.
Step 10
Add some spots from the alphabet sticker sheet.
And here's the finished layout!
