Morning Sketchers!
I turned 30 yesterday so today I am officially a bit depressed! Birthday is over. 20s are over. But on the plus side we're out for dinner with friends tonight so that will be fun (then back to hopefully see Rylan or Christopher voted out of the Xfactor!) and we're going to see the Harry Potter studio tour on Monday which I am SO excited about!
Anyway, enough about me, this week's Sketch Saturday sketch is another cracker:
and I've gone all Christmassey this week with my first Christmas card of the season. This card is huge: 8x8" so I had a lot of card to fill. The tree is stamped then re-stamped with glue and glitter added to give it a bit of sparkle.
I do these these large cards for family members and I always print the sentiments I need on my pc as I don't have stamps that say quite the right things and 'Merry Christmas' simply doesn't cut it for family for some reason!
This week's Sketch Saturday sketch is sponsored by the Craft Barn who are providing a prize so make sure you play along!
I'm going to enter this card in a few lovely challenges this week:
Scrap Creations - Winter
Loves Rubber Stamps - Use Ribbon
Try it On Tuesday: Christmas Sparkle
Crafty Creations: Christmas is Coming!
Happy scrapping xx
A very beautiful card Niki, love the gorgeous image and papers. Hope you had a lovely birthday.
