Hi everyone, I have a new layout to share today for Bramble Fox using the XOXO from the February Fox Box and the Lovely Mail set in hot pink.
I've used the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Unforgettable collection for this layout that I've had in my stash for a while. The hot pink in this collection is a perfect match for the Lovely Mail set.
I love the script paper so tore off a large piece for the top of my layout and added a narrow pink strip below it. I also added some pink pom pom trim.
I added my two photos and embellished around them using ephemera flowers and other icons. I began adding the Happy Mail perspextives but because they are open designs, they got a bit lost on top of the patterned papers and ephemera so I took them off and stuck them to some white card. Once try I trimmed around them and then they were 'backed'. This meant that I could easily add them over the patterns and they would still show up well - a perfect solution.
I added the 'xoxo' below the photo onto the white background. I added wet glue to the top XO and then sprinkled sequins over the top in order to fill the openings with sequins - this didn't work perfectly because the sequins were a bit too big! I should have removed the and used glitter instead but for some reason that didn't occur to me until too late! So I've left it as it is but next time glitter would be a better option!
I finished with my title and journaling which is about a day we went out for brunch and took our two year old toddlersaurus with us - a very risky business!
