Hey everyone, here is a new layout for Hip Kit Club, playing along with this week's challenge, which is a Scraplift challenge. We are all scraplifting a beautiful layout by Amanda Jayne Baldwin and we had the additional challenge of making our layouts Halloween themed.
I choose to use the September kits, even though my October ones have now arrived...because I was aiming for spooky and there was more I could use in the September kit than October's for that. You can find the kits on the Hip Kit Club website.
I've used a spider web cut file that was from October 2019 - there are new ones available on the website now but at the time we didn't have the current cut files so I went back through the archives looking for something Halloween themed. It was actually only half a spider-web, but I welded two together to make one. I cut my photo into a circle shape with metal dies and placed it in the middle of my spider web. I fussy cut some flowers and used a Maggie Holmes paper for my background. I mixed in purple and grey colours from the September kits.
I hope you like how my layout turned out, I'm really impressed that I managed to make a Halloween layout with ZERO Halloween supplies!
