Hey everyone, I have a new layout for Peartree Cut Files today. I’m playing along with the Cyber Crop that’s happening over in the Peartree CutFiles Facebook Group.
I am playing along with Challenge #7, Saturday 9pm and the challenge is to ‘Pear’ a cut file with something different or to use it in a different way. So I have definitely done that! Instead of cutting the ‘Under the Sea’ cut file, I have sketched it, but with a Sharpie instead of a Sketch Pen. This gave me much thicker, more bold lines than usual. I then painted the picture with Shimmerz paints, added lots of glitter and all the ocean ephemera I could find!
I had loads of fun making this layout and it was great to do this challenge as it took me out of my comfort zone – I find that those layouts always end up being my favourites!
Play along with the challenges over on the Facebook Group. The challenges are open until 10pm on Saturday 22nd August 2020, so plenty of time to play along.
