Hey
everyone, I have a new layout to share today for GoGo Getaway.
At our June 2020 Cyber GoGo, Terri taught a class where she stamped onto vellum
with staz on ink and then backed the vellum butterflies with patterned paper.
I'm doing the same technique on my layout today.
I choose
a couple of different stamps. I have a large flower stamp which I stamped onto
some vellum multiple times. I also used a couple of different sized circles
with some details in the middles and I did a few butterflies as well. I fussy
cut them out and then stuck them to different coloured patterned papers and
tissue papers. The colour of the backing paper shows through the vellum but in
a much more subtle way. I really love how these elements turned out!
I layered
lots of my stamped creations around my small photo together with a few other
bits and pieces from a Lollipop Box Club kit, onto a sheet of The Stamp Market
Paper. I then added white splatters of acrylic paint to the stripy background
and added title in small alphabet Thickers. I also added a few Perspextives by
Bramble Fox. This is the second minimalist layout I've made recently and I
really love them - perhaps I have found my new style!
Thanks so
much for joining me today and definitely give this technique a go, it's really
lovely.
Happy
scrapping
Niki xx
