A Flexible Template?

Thursday 8 August 2013

My crazy two-year old Sophie went to stay with my mum and dad for a whole 24 hours which means that I have been on a scrapbooking mission! While she was away I managed to get six layouts done which is a real achievement for me these days! I'll post them all over the next few days.

The amazing Shimelle had an inspiration weekend of challenges this weekend just gone so I thought I'd give some of her challenges a try.  I was intrigued but the idea of Noell Hyman's flexible templates which Shimelle explains fully on here blog here, so I thought I'd give this a try.  The basic idea is to keep your layout within a rectangle or square with your photos on the top and patterned paper, embellishments, journaling etc at the bottom. Because I had one landscape and one portrait photo this didn't quite work which is why I have some additional patterned paper in the top half of the layout but given that it is a flexible template I think I'm ok!

More information about this challenge can be found on Shimelle's blog here.

Thanks for looking and happy scrapping xx
