The Flight of the Phoenix

In between baby feeds, decorating, and running around after a crazy two year old, somehow I managed to fit in a UK Scrappers weekly challenge!

This week's challenge (July Week 5) was quite a complicated one with several elements to choose from - I went for:

1. to create a layout based on a favourite children's book (Harry Potter) and also to keep my journaling on the opposite side of the page to my photo;

2. to use a mix of alphabets;

3. to create delicate embellishments - I made the two paper feathers at the top right of the layout.
