Well this is awkward, I am blogging this as he's sitting next to me - any moment now he's going to look over and see the card and make a comment such as 'that's a nice card, who's that for' knowing full well he's just clocked me blogging his Christmas card. He almost always somehow managed to see his cards before he actually gets them!
I wasn't sure what to do with this sketch when I first saw it, the flourish put me off but once I decided not to include a flourish of any description, I was good to go! I utilized one of the patterned papers in my Tis the Season (My Mind's Eye) and used the heart decorations dies (Memory Box) for the other side. It's rare that I ever made a card without stamping an image so this was a very quick make for me!
He's just glanced over but still not said anything so maybe Ive got away with this one, I'll have to hide the real card upstairs somewhere (better not forget where I put it though!)
