Final Vintage/Heritage Class layout

Tuesday 15 May 2012

Hi Again everyone

Today I'm sharing the last of the layouts made in my Vintage/Heritage scrapbooking class that took place on Saturday. I really enjoyed running this class, some of the old photos people had were really amazing and I just loved seeing them and helping to bring them alive on scrapbook pages:

This was a photo of me and my mum (did the title give it away by any chance?). I only had the one so this had to be a single photo layout which are often my favourite.

I added some interest to the photo by building up several different sized pieces of card and patterned papers and gave one a decorative edge which sort of became a feature by hanging over the background frame.

I then added some chiffon trim under the photo

The corner embellishment is simply made with lots of circles cut with various sized punches out of different patterned papers which have been build up to fit into the corner of the layout. I added a couple of gorgeous flowers and some buttons to finish off

If you've liked this series of vintage/heritage layouts and would like to come along to one of my scrapbooking classes in the future, have a look at our Workshops page for details and drop me an email to book your place (pagesofmemories@hotmail.co.uk)

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by - check back tomorrow for this week's new kit xx
