Another Vintage/Heritage Layout

Tuesday 8 May 2012

Hi Everyone

I have another layout to share with you today, this is another one from my Vintage/Heritage Scrapbooking class that is coming up this Saturday 12th May
(unfortunately the class is full but if you want details of other scrapbooking classes let me know, they are great value at only £23 with 4 layouts and lunch included!)

This one is more vintage style than heritage and features a photo of me and Ben on our wedding day:

The photo unfortunately doesn't do the layout justice but the mix of the slightly blurred black & white photo with the papers used comes together really well.

The corner embellishments (bottom corners) are cut from the off cuts of one of the papers as is the rose embellishment too.

I added a large 1-word title, (I sometimes think these have the most impact?) and some journalling strips.  I aslo inked the edges of the patterned papers with black ink to pull everything together

I finished off the layout by adding a few strips of patterned paper to the top left corner together with some lace and a sub title and two tiny hearts.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by - I have a couple more of these layouts to share with you but they won't be until after the class on Saturday so watch this space xx
