Hey everyone! Here is a spooky new layout for Simple Stories
using Simple Vintage October 31st! This collection is obviously Halloween
themed and I LOVE Halloween, so I had great fun diving into all the SV October
31st products!
I chose a light background printed with a large doily and spiderweb
cluster at the top. I trimmed it down and distressed the edges. I also layered
it with another patterned paper, then set these layers together onto a sheet of
black Simple Vintage Basics paper.
I mounted my photo on black & white gingham paper from
the 6x8 Paper Pad and arranged these onto the layout together with a chipboard
frame. The frame wasn’t quite the right size for my photos but I was determined
to use it anyway so I cut it in half and used on half for each photo – this
worked so well!
I added my title which is one of the Foam Stickers and I
then embellished the layout using Chipboard Stickers, Foam Stickers, Bits &
Pieces and Decorative Brads, creating one large cluster on the right of the
photos and some other smaller clusters too.
I finished off with splatters of black acrylic paint! I had
such fun making this layout and I can’t wait to use more of this collection!
