Hi
everyone, I have a new layout to share today for Lottie Loves Paper. I’m using
the beautiful Garden Party Collection by Maggie Holmes and I’m focusing on the
pink floral paper.
Our little
road of just five houses, is lined with cherry blossom trees, and every year in
April or May they flower the most beautiful pink blossom. This layout is about
those trees and how much I love them.
I decided
to focus on the pink floral paper from Garden Party because it reminded me of
the pink blossom! I cut a section for the top of the page and fussy cut around
a line of flowers so I had a large single piece rather than cutting them all
individually. I added this to the top of the layout and it reminds me of the
canopy of blossom we have over our heads each time we walk down our road. I
then fussy cut lots more flowers: some I popped up on top of the canopy and
some I had raining down – it does feel like it is raining blossom in our road
and I wanted to reflect that on my layout!
I added
only a few embellishments: a tag from the Garden Party ephemera which I tied
through with gingham ribbon and tucked behind my photo, chipboard house and ‘love’
label and some puffy stickers.
I used a
Bramble Fox Perspextive for my title ‘Details’ which was in the May Fox Box. I
also added a little purple butterfly which was the perfect match to the paper.
I also added some gold Garden Party glittery hearts and finished off with some
beautiful pink and black sequins and some pink paint splatters.
Thank you
so much for joining me today, I hope you have enjoyed this layout and happy
scrapping!
Niki xx
