Time for Starbooks | Lottie Loves Paper | Echo Park Paper Coffee & Friends

Wednesday 10 March 2021

Hi everyone, here is another layout for Lottie Loves Paper using the Echo Park Paper collection Coffee & friends.

This is my sixth layout using this collection and I have really stretched out my supplies, but I have now used them all up so I will have to move onto something new!

For this layout I utilised every bit of patterned paper I had left. I used pink cardstock for my background and mounted that on a patterned paper border. I trimmed out what was left of the middle of that paper first though so I could fussy cut all the coffee cups from the other side.

The story behind this layout is that my little boy Max, who is 7, always calls Starbucks coffee 'Starbooks' which always makes us laugh. I therefore have a photo of him and my husband with a Starbooks coffee, and I have also created a little coffee cut. I used the Thanks a Latte cut file from Peartree Cut files but I only used the cup. I back filled it with vellum, silver card and kraft card. I also manipulated a Starbucks logo so that it reads 'Starbooks' and printed that and added it to my cute little coffee cup. I love how it turned out!

I fussy cut loads of flowers from the remaining patterned papers I had and arranged these around my photo and cup. I added a doily, a kraft tag and lots of fussy cut coffee cups. I added in lots of stickers from the sticker sheet - I love the cute phrases such as 'coffee is a hug', 'life happens, coffee helps' and 'you're the cream to my coffee'.

I finished off with twiddles of thread, Bramble Fox perspextives (geotags with stars) and some corrugated hearts by Bella Blvd. I also added sequins and a couple of gingham bows from my stash.

Thank you so much for joining me today and I hope you have enjoyed the layouts I have made with this collection.

Happy scrapping

Niki xx
