Hey everyone, I have a new layout for Hip Kit Club today and this one is inspired by the September moodboard and I have used the August Hip Kits. You can find the August kits over on the HipKit Club website.
I have been inspired by the September Moodboard for this layout in particular the bottom middle image of a ball of wool. It's a deep teal colour and is a circle shape - this was the basis for my layout! I have gone for a dark background for my layout which was a sheet of card from the August cardstock kit. I then cut lots of circles from the various August patterned papers. I also made some paper rosettes.
I found a manufacturing strip on one of the papers with a chevron pattern on - there are chevrons on one of the pillows on the bed image on the moodboard, so I included that strip and another.
I was also inspired by the straws image - I rolled up some pieces of patterned paper and cut them into several rolled strips - I love how these look! The straws have some little banners on them so I re-created these on my layout around the paper strips, using washi tape from the August kits - how fun!
I really love how this layout turned it, it's so fun and I managed to incorporate so many things from the moodboard.
