Layouts using My Mind's Eye 'Mistletoe Magic' collection from January's 'The Story' Kit

Well a huge Happy New Year to all you scrappers out there. I hope there aren't too many sore heads this morning...

This week we're using Christmas supplies - I don't know about you but I tend to scrapbook Christmas photos after Christmas which is why Christmas supplies usually show up in my January kits rather than December ones... This collection is the 'Mistletoe Magic' collection by My Mind's Eye and it's a bright and colourful Christmas collection - not too overly themed:

I've kept this layout quite simple - three photos across the middle with strips of patterned paper top and bottom. I've got two strips of washi tape across the top of my layout and added my title on top of a strip of red patterned paper to make it stand out.

I've used the Christmas trees for my background in my second layout and I've used up the rest of the patterned papers from this collection behind my photos. I made a journaling card out of red patterned paper and added some blue card on top to give me somewhere to put my title and I've embellished with washi tape and cut out snowflakes
