Layouts using My Mind's Eye 'Cut & Paste Charm' collection from January's 'The Story' kit

Morning scrappers, I hope it's not too cold for you this lovely frosty January morning.

This week we are using the My Mind's Eye 'Cut & Paste Charm' collection. There are four papers from this collection in this month's kit together with a 6x4" journaling card:

I really loved the clouds paper but it had a really pretty print of patterns on the back so I've cut out a section from behind the yellow houndstooth and cut the shapes out of that! The flowers, circles and flags all came from that gutted piece - saves buying two of every sheet you like both sides of, hey? I've cut my journaling card in half so I can use it on this layout and the second one too.

I've gone for a block design in the second layout.The orange chevron seemed a bit too dark to use as a background so I went for the arrows instead, which I love by the way! I've managed to piece my photos, journaling card and another pieces of patterned paper all within that chevron block. I've embellished using washi tape and a few cut-out arrows.
