Hey
everyone and happy Halloween! I’m here to share a new layout for Simple Stories
today using the spooktacular Spooky Nights collection.
I wanted to
show off some of the gorgeous papers in this collection and therefore created a
large torn area at the top. I make the layout on a black background to make it
feel extra spooky. I then added some colours onto the black card and the white
spiderweb paper with Distress Oxide inks. I also added a few splatters. I then
added my photos to this area together with two tags from the Spooky Nights Tags
paper which I tied through with ribbons.
I really
wanted to use that MWHAHAHA title from the Foam Stickers but it didn’t really
work with design…it would have worked better if it hadn’t been stacked but I
was super keen to use it so I added it at the top. I then balanced it out by
adding a small cluster at the bottom of the layout. This created a diagonal
line which hugely helped to balance out the large title.
I used fun
chipboard stickers and Bits and Pieces ephemera. I also added Decorative brads
and foam stars.
I love how
this layout turned out, Halloween scrapbooking is so much fun!
Happy
scrapping
Niki xx
