Hey
everyone! Peartree Cutfiles is 1! We are celebrating with a birthday
celebration YouTube Hop! There are plenty of amazing projects in this hop so
hop along to all the stops to get inspired! This hop is just for fun so there
are no requirements to comment and there are no prizes BUT Peartree Cutfiles
are hosting a First Birthday Celebration Cybercrop with challenges everyday
from 1st August and there are plenty of prizes to be won there. Head over to

For my
layout I have used the Let’s GO cut file which is awesome for scrapbooking
photos of my little boy who is always on the go!
I have used
the Safe Travels collection by Simple Stories. I backed the arrow in a rusty
coloured paper, and the letters ‘GO’ with pink striped pattern paper.
I wanted to
use a patterned paper background so I trimmed a paper down to about 11” square
and added that to a sheet of white after distressing and folding up the edges.
I then cut a large circle from mustard coloured paper and added that to the
centre of the layout. I was then able to add the cut file on top of that circle
and it showed up beautifully. I tucked in my photos together with a couple of
tags and then began embellishing.
I added a
number of chipboard stickers and foam stickers from the Safe Travels
collection. I also added stickers and labels that say things like ‘on the go’
and ‘adventure awaits’.
I really
love how this layout turned out! Check out the hop list in the description to my Video, and enjoy
