I am loving the Hard Candy Christmas collection by Simple
Stories!
This sweetly festive collection brings vibrant holiday cheer
with its playful mix of teals, pinks, reds, and whites, plus the cutest
candy-themed icons and motifs. It’s perfect for bright, fun festive layouts!
I used that fabulous swirl paper to cut circles, then
decorated them with Bits & Pieces, Foam Stickers, Decorative Brads, and
Enamel Dots. I just love how colourful and fun it turned out!
More Simple Vintage Flannel Season
collection! For this layout I decided to cut one of those adorable flannel prints in half
diagonally. I then pieced another quarter triangle into the top section of the page,
again showcasing both sides of one paper on a single layout! I left the final
quarter triangle free of patterned paper… so of course, I filled it up with
embellishments!
I used a family photo from last year, which I placed almost
in the centre of the layout (but not quite!). I wanted it to cross the divide
between the papers, creating a nice flow across the page. I then began
clustering lots of beautiful Floral Bits around the top left corner of the
photo.
For my title, I used the cute ‘let’s stay in’ Foam Sticker,
placing it along the diagonal line. It crosses the corner of my photo, a
slightly quirky placement, but I love how it looks!
I continued tucking in more florals and a big bow from the
Bits & Pieces in that section of the layout. I also added in a few
snowflakes to fill some of the remaining white space.
Over on the right-hand side, I added a pretty blue bow to
the corner of my photo, along with a few phrase stickers from the Cardstock
Stickers. They say things like ‘winter joy’ and ‘winter is warmer with you’, I
always love adding little phrases like these to my layouts!
To finish, I added some Decorative Brads, handwrote my
journaling in the diagonal gap between the patterned papers, and splattered a
few touches of white paint for that snowy finish.
I love how this one turned out, it was so fun to make, and
the Simple Vintage Flannel Season collection is just perfect for all those cozy
winter memories!
Wrap your winter memories in warmth with the Simple Vintage
Flannel Season collection from Simple Stories, a cozy, winter woodland
collection that’s perfect for all your winter scrapbooking! This line features
gorgeous deep reds, forest greens, navy and teal tones, with browns and crisp
whites creating a rustic yet festive feel. It’s packed full of adorable icons
and motifs such as vintage snowmen, forest animals, and pinecones…I just love
it!
For this layout, I went for a split design so I could
showcase both sides of one paper. On one side, I used the blue polka dot print,
and on the other, the cute woodland trees. I paired my photo with a large tag
from the Big Bits pack that features the vintage sweetest snowman on a sledge.
I carefully cut around him so I could tuck the corner of my photo underneath.
I created a large cluster in this area using Bits &
Pieces, Floral Bits, and labels, which I arranged around my photo. I love the
little cardinals in this collection, I included one sitting amongst the
foliage, and it looks so sweet!
For my title, I used the phrase ‘let it snow’ in flannel
print from the Foam Stickers. My photo is a bit of a stretch… we don’t get much
snow in my part of the UK, and this very light dusting was all we got last
year! It didn’t stop my little boy from being super excited though, he even
managed to make a snowball from it and throw it at me!
To balance out the large cluster, I added a smaller one on
the right side of the layout with some pretty florals, a bow, and a few phrase
pieces. I also added my handwritten journaling in this area.
I finished off with some Decorative Brads and a few
splatters of white paint for that perfect snowy touch.
Thanks so much for joining me today, and happy scrapping!
Hey everyone! Here’s the layout I created for GoGo Getaway’s
final-ever Cybercrop…we’ll be closing our doors at the end of 2025. 💔
The challenge I set was a quote challenge using one of my
festive favourites from the movie Elf: “I just like to smile, smiling’s my
favourite!” I interpreted it by scrapping an oversized, super-smiley photo of
my family all dressed up in our Christmas gear.
I worked with last year’s Santa’s Village collection by
Simple Stories, adding a bold patterned paper strip along the bottom and a
large title cluster to the right of my enlarged photo. A small embellishment
cluster at the top helps balance the design.
I’m so happy with how cheerful and festive this one turned
out!
I enjoyed playing along with this month’s @fortheloveofprettypaper
sketch! I loved that large area of patterned paper and the two photo strips
gave me lots of room for multiple photos!
I’ve scrapped eight photos of our
resident elves getting up to their antics at nighttime. I stayed quite true to the sketch and added embellishment
areas both to the left and right of the strips together with my title. I’ve
used last year’s Santa’s Village collection by Simple Stories.

When I found a very cute hedgehog just wandering around in the middle of the day, of course I took a hundred photos and put him on a scrapbook page! The Simple Vintage Autumn Breeze collection by Simple Stories was perfect! I cut out that tree and house from beautiful papers in the 6x8 Paper pad to make my background and then added a photo strip and lots of pretty embellishments!
Update on the hedgehog: obviously hedgehogs aren't supposed to be awake during the day so we called Hedgehog Rescue who came and collected him and took him away for a check up, then re-released him. What a cutie!
Hey everyone, here is another layout using the gorgeous All Wrapped Up
collection, I chose that beautiful pale cross-hatch paper for my background , how
stunning is that paper?!
I cut out lots of tags from the Tags Elements paper (always
one of my faves!) and added different ribbons to each one. I made eight in
total and layered them down both sides of my layout, with the tags facing
inwards. I love how this turned out, it created the perfect space in the centre
for a long title!
I added my two photos onto some paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad
to give them a nice mount before placing them over the tags.
In the middle of the layout, I added some festive words from
the Foam Stickers: ‘cheer’, ‘hohoho’, and ‘joy’. I absolutely adore the style
of these Foam Sticker titles!
Next, I added lots of little details to the tags: cute
pieces from the Bits and Pieces pack, including a gorgeous vintage Santa,
gifts, candy canes, holly leaves, and plenty of stars.
To finish, I popped on a few Decorative Brads for extra
texture, added my handwritten journaling, and splattered a little white paint
for a snowy finishing touch.
Here’s a new layout for Simple Stories using the gorgeous
All Wrapped Up collection! This collection is full of traditional Christmas
colours and the cutest festive icons.
For this layout, I started with that beautiful red paper
covered in musical notes. I cut it into a large circle and added it to a white
cardstock background.
I layered up my family photo with several trees. I
absolutely adore the trees in this collection! They’re divided into different
sections, each with its own colours and patterns, and they’re just so cute. I
made a feature of them around my photo.
For my title, I used the word ‘merry’ from the Foam
Stickers. Some of the letters are divided up in the same way as the trees,
totally adorable!
I added a few embellishments around my tree clusters,
including flowers and leaves from the Bits & Pieces, along with gifts and
other decorations. I also added a few stars, some from the Bits & Pieces and others
from the Foam Stickers.
I always love using the Decorative Brads, they add great texture and dimension to my
layouts, so I always reach for them. This layout was no exception; I dotted a
few around the page.
To finish, I added a few phrase stickers from the Cardstock
Stickers and some splatters of black paint for a final touch!
I think this layout turned out really cute, and the All
Wrapped Up collection is just gorgeous.
Hey everyone! Here’s the layout I created for the November
Cybercrop Moodboard Challenge. The moodboard was full of pinks, soft pastels,
pretty details, crafty elements, and flowers so right up my street!
I used the Crafty Babe collection by Simple Stories to
document the last ever group photo from our final GoGo Getaway residential
retreat back in June. Such fabulous memories from an unforgettable weekend!
For the design, I placed my photo in the centre with two
patterned paper strips running down either side of the page. The embellishments
cascade down from the photo, flowing into my stacked title: “I’m a totally
fabulous crafty girl”, and honestly, what a perfect title for this page!
I had so much fun with the oversized tags on this month’s For the Love of Pretty Paper sketch! I made two giant tags with patterned papers which I balanced with the
bright strip at the bottom. To make my tags look authentic, I made contrasting circles
for the holes to go through…just like a pre-made tag! I used the very cute Fur
Baby Cat collection by Simple Stories to scrap some funny photos of my cat
trying to sit on my husband’s head! She really loves him!
