Hey
everyone, welcome to a lesson all about Mini Books! This week at Scrap Academy
we are looking at scrapbooking in different formats and I am taking you through
the enormous topic of mini books.
I don't
make loads of mini books but seem to have made an awful lot over my many years
of scrapbooking. I have recently fallen in love with them again so expect to
see a few more from me.
The first
40 minutes of this video is a talk about mini books and a look through all the
different styles I have ever made. This section is pretty long but there's a lot to look at.
The
second part of this video is a process video (skip to 41:41) where I made a brand new and
extremely cute mini book using a Paige Evans cut file available from the
Silhouette Design Store (simply called 'Mini Album' design ID: 283408). The
base of this book is made from one sheet of 12x12 paper and then there are lots
of cute interactive bits inside too. The book documents our 'Harmony Week' at
school (well, home school!) where the children were set tasks and activities
all relating to harmony, celebrating diversity and being inclusive.
I've used
the May 2020 Hip Kits to make this mini book and I've added perspextives by
Bramble Fox and sequins by Spiegelmom Scraps
Thanks so
much for watching along and happy scrapping
Niki xx
