Layouts using the September 'Anywhere' kit

For the first two layouts using the 'Anywhere' kit I picked out the four papers from the Carta Bella 'Well Played' collection., One of the papers had loads of border strips on it - a whole loads of embellishments there to choose from. I'm STILL have Harry Potter photos to scrap and figured these papers could work well for a few of those:

I started off with photos of the boys' dormitory. The photos were quite dark so I choose the most brightly coloured background paper I could. I embellished using the border strips and cut out playing cards from one of the border strips too. I also used some of the little star-like shapes from the Thickers alphabet stickers.

What better photos to scrap with these papers than the enormous chess pieces from the Philosopher's Stone film! I had the chess board as the background paper and there were even pawns on one of the border strips so all in all, a very perfect match!
