Hi Everyone and welcome to June! It's the 5th of the month today and I have already done all my May Document layouts - I hope you are impressed!
Here is my May Introduction layout. The pictures hasn't come out too well but the background is a soft yellow colour and I've used a photo of baby Max amongst the daisies (he wasn't too happy about lying there while I took the photo though!). This layout uses one landscape 6x4 photo and also contains the usual calendar and a slightly larger than usual envelope for your May memorabilia:
The numbers this month are slightly different from usual - there is some hexagon paper in this month's kit and I've cut out (sorry!) all the hexagons and used them as the main shape for the numbers and then drawn in stitching (sorry again!) The hexagons on the paper are all different patterns so therefore we'll be having very colourful layouts this month! I've also used orange ribbon, a ticket punched from kraft card, a turquoise circle and a small vanilla flower to write the date into:
This month's divided layouts use a page protector that contains three 6x4 landscape pockets and six 3x4" portrait pockets so that's 9 mini layouts on the page (and on the reverse so 18 in total!). Here's the first of my divided layouts this month:
and a close up of some of the pockets:
And the second of my divided layouts:
and some close ups:
and finally here is May's focus layout - Sophie's birthday party. I've used a neutral patterned paper as the background and added several different patterns to it. We have a lovely big pinwheel as an embellishment this month and some fab pom pom trim:
For those of you taking part in Document 2013 you should have an email providing you with photos, a printable PDF and a list of what to bring. See those of you who are coming on Saturday at 9.45 and don't forget to bring lunch!
Happy scrapping xx
