For my layout, I couldn’t resist using the fabulous new Crafty Babe collection — it’s absolutely perfect for capturing crafty adventures and memories! I designed a playful concentric circle layout, tucked in a few tags, and sprinkled lots of crafty icons around the circles. I’m so happy with how it turned out!
Hey everyone! I had such
a lovely time creating this layout using the Tea Garden collection by Simple
Stories! This collection is full of gorgeous pastel tones, paired with pops of
really bright colours, delicate florals, and charming tea-time elements—perfect
for capturing those sweet spring moments.
For this layout, I really wanted to highlight the Enjoy Life
patterned paper with all the adorable square designs. To give it a fun,
textured look, I cut each square apart, distressed the edges, and then stuck
them back down—of course! I curled over
a few corners for extra dimension.
I replaced several squares with my photos and one with my
title, then, I had so much fun layering in Floral Bits, Foam Stickers,
Cardstock Stickers, and Decorative Brads—because you can never have too many
embellishments, right?
I absolutely adore the soft, pretty tones in this collection
with those pops of bright colours, and all the beautiful icons—it’s such a joy
to create with! If you’re looking for a collection that’s fun and playful, Tea
Garden is a must-have.

Here is another layout using Fur Baby Dog by Simple Stories and I wanted to highlight
those gorgeous tag designs! I fussy-cut them from the patterned paper, punched
holes, and threaded each one with coordinating ribbons from my stash. To keep
everything lying nice and flat, I secured the ribbons in place with a couple of
staples instead of tying bulky knots, such a simple trick for a smooth finish!
I arranged five tags around my adorable 6x4 photo, which I
mounted onto an orange pattern from the 6x8 Paper Pad. I intentionally left a
wide border along the bottom edge which gave e the perfect place for adding my
handwritten journaling.
For the title, I used another gorgeous multicoloured piece
from the Foam Stickers “Furever Friends”, how cute is that?! It ties everything
together beautifully.
To complete the design, I sprinkled in embellishments from
the Bits & Pieces pack, stickers and phrases from the Cardstock Sticker
sheet, and a few Decorative Brads for extra texture. And of course, no layout
of mine is complete without a few splatters of black paint, my signature
finishing touch!

Have you seen the adorable Fur Baby Dog collection by Simple
Stories? It’s perfect for documenting our four-legged friends, and on this
layout, I had so much fun using the playful speech bubble paper filled with
cute doggie words!
To create the design, I tore a large section of the speech
bubble paper for the top of my layout and layered it with the contrasting
pattern on the reverse side. The solid green background with white paw prints
balanced the busier elements, while curling up the edges of both layers added a
touch of texture and dimension.
For my photo, I used a 6x4 print and mounted it onto an
orange pattern from the 6x8 paper pad, a great way to add another pop of colour!
My title, “Paws & enjoy the little things”, came from the Foam Stickers
set, and I absolutely love the mix of colours in the lettering!
To add extra dimension, I fussy-cut some of the speech
bubbles from my leftover paper and popped them up on foam pads to align with
the existing ones. This little detail really makes them stand out! I then
embellished the page with pieces from the Bits & Pieces pack and Cardstock
Sticker sheet, including some phrase stickers (one of my favourite ways to add
finishing touches!). I also included Decorative Brads for a different texture,
handwritten journaling and a few splatters of black paint to bring everything
together.

Hey everyone! I’m excited to share a new layout for Simple
Stories using one of the sporty Simple Sets. I went with the Soccer set since
my daughter plays on a soccer team. Each Simple Set includes six double-sided
patterned papers and a sheet of Cardstock Stickers, plus there’s a matching
Page Pieces set available too!
For this layout, I used the soccer pitch paper as my
background—I just love that bold, bright green! I added two photos and
decorated the page with stickers from the Cardstock Stickers sheet and pieces
from the Page Pieces set. The embellishments are absolutely perfect for a
soccer-themed layout!
To finish it off, I added some journaling and a few
splatters of black paint for extra texture.
Hey everyone, here is another layout for Simple Stories using Say Cheese Classic Pooh. For this layout, I knew I had to use that gorgeous
book-page paper—it was the perfect match for the book-page in my photo! I
started by cutting up all the pages, distressing the edges for a worn, textured
look, and then carefully placing them back onto another background paper. To
add extra detail, I tucked in a few tabs and border strips from the Journal Bits
between the pages.
I mounted my photo on a coordinating paper and layered it
onto the layout. To frame it even more, I used two tags from the Tags paper,
threading them with ribbon before tucking them behind the photo for added
dimension.
Next, I embellished the layout with plenty of pretty Floral
Bits and a large Winnie-the-Pooh character from the Page Pieces. For the title,
I chose a Foam Sticker and placed it vertically alongside my photo for a
balanced look.
To bring the design together, I created a second cluster on
the right side, featuring Eeyore, more Floral Bits, and a chipboard honey pot
from the Decorative Brads. I finished off the layout with additional Decorative
Brads, Enamel Dots, and some hand-written journaling beneath my photo. As a
final touch, I splattered some white paint over the clusters.
I absolutely love how this layout came together—the
background complements my photo perfectly, and working with the Classic Pooh
collection has been such a joy. It’s just so adorable!
Hey everyone! I'm excited to share a new layout for Simple
Stories using the Say Cheese Classic Pooh collection—it's absolutely adorable!
For this project, I created a double-page layout since I had plenty of photos
and wanted to showcase two coordinating papers from the collection that work
perfectly together as a background.
We’re so lucky to have the 100 Aker Wood just 10 minutes
from our house! It’s part of a farm we visit often, and they’ve transformed the
woodland into a magical space with a charming trail, storybook models, and
character houses along the way. We used to go there all the time, and these
photos are from a visit a few years ago. I printed them in a slightly
smaller-than-standard size—around 5”x3.75”—since I like printing with borders,
which naturally reduces the dimensions a bit.
To make working on the double layout easier, I taped the two
background pages together on the back. Then, I mounted my photos, placed one
inside a Chipboard Frame, and arranged them on the background.
Next, I had so much fun assembling one of the cutest little
metal die sets I’ve ever seen! I chose Color Vibe cardstock in shades that
complement the Classic Pooh collection and ran them through my Big Shot. After
cutting all the pieces, I put together the honey pot and the bee. One detail I
absolutely love is the honey pot label—it not only cuts out the outline but
also has an embossing plate that imprints the word "hunny"—such a
clever touch! I tucked these adorable embellishments under one of my photos for
extra dimension.
Since I wanted to layer my photos within the printed
clusters on the background paper, I carefully cut around the designs with a
craft knife. This allowed me to slip the corners of the photos and extra
elements, like Journal Bits, Bits & Pieces, and Floral Bits, behind them
for a more interactive look.
To finish the layout, I added more embellishments, including
additional Floral Bits and Bits & Pieces. I placed a Foam Sticker title on
the right page, then added Decorative Brads and Enamel Dots for extra texture.
I handwrote my journaling beneath the title and completed everything with a few
phrase stickers from the Cardstock Stickers and some splatters of white paint
for a finishing touch.
I loved working on this double layout—I always enjoy
creating double spreads, even though I don’t create them as often as I’d like.
The Classic Pooh collection is an absolute joy to work with, and I couldn’t be
happier with how this turned out!
