Happy Valentines

This week is a 'free week' which means we can choose any sketch from the archives (I think from #215 onwards) and I went for #287. I know it's a couple of weeks early but here is my Valentines card for my lovely hubby. I choose the cutest image from Drawn with Character - 'We go together like...Coffee & Donuts'. I always struggle to find images that my husband will appreciate but this was perfect!

Again I've used old Stampin Up papers in my quest to get them used up.

A Fairy Birthday

Little Mollie turns two very soon (which means my Max does soon too - where does the time go!), and she is a cute little thing so this lovely fairy is for her. She's not mega into pink so I included other colours in the card too. The image is by Sami Stamps (a new sponsor and I love them!) and I've again used old Stampin Up papers in my stashbusting quest. I've embellished with some crystal leaves and a glittery number '2'.

Domestic Goddess

This week's birthday card is for a very glamorous friend who's just decided she's not returning to work after having baby number 2. She is therefore now officially a domestic goddess (along with me of course!) I've used a Mo Manning image and old Stampin Up papers (still on my stashbusting mission) and old ribbon too.

Gingers Rock!!

One day my friend asked me to make a card for her. I was like 'yeah, sure, what do you need?' and she said she wanted an orange 40th birthday card for someone with ginger hair saying something like  'gingers are awesome' or 'gingers rule' or something like that. I was somewhat confused and ignored her request for a while until she explained that seriously she did want the card and that it wasn't offensive, it was more of an inside joke.

So I took the challenge. I downloaded a 'gingers rock' image from google, sized it and printed it.  I pulled out all my orange paper and came up with this. Random I know and I'm fairly sure I won't be making another one like it in the future, but it was fun to do.

1st Birthday

Well hello and a Happy New 2015 to all! This week we have four new members of the Sketch Saturday Design Team to announce to head over to their blogs and say hi!

My card this week is for a little boy who is celebrating his 1st birthday and this super cute Edward Elephant stamp by Bugaboo was totally perfect!

I'm on a bit of a stash busting mission this year so the papers are old SU ones, as is the ribbon!
