Jot Magazine is definitely a favourite when it comes to scrap magazines these days and I have had layouts in it for the last two months in a row which I've loved seeing. Anyway, they have a lovely moodboard challenge for January and I was inspired by it.
For Anchor Down & Stay a While, I used paints (metallic Starlights paints by Imagination Crafts) and standard watercolours to make the background, then layered up using some papers by Dear Lizzy
'Saturday' collection and fussy cut some clouds from Cocoa Vanilla Studio 'Endless Summer'. I also used up a few bits from the chipboard sheet of 'Cool Kid' by Crate Paper.
Happy scrapping!! xx

I have recently joined the fabulous Stick It Down design team, I am alternating between their double page team and their single page team. This month I am in double-mode therefore have a double layout to share. Such a fabulous sketch by Laura to play with.
I've used some of the new Christmassy collection by Simple Stories which I got from Hey Little Magpie of course :)
Head on over and join in with this month's sketches, the single sketch and the card sketch are fab too.
Happy scrapping xx

Hey there, we have a brand new monthly challenge over on the GoGo Getaway blog and this month I'm setting the challenge and it's a sketch. I love a sketch, it just sparks the creativity and is often the starting point of a great layout.
Here are a few sneak peeks of my sample layout made with the sketch. To see the full layout head over to the GoGo Getaway blog or the GoGoGetaway FB group which is where you can play along and be in with a chance of winning 1000 Hey Little Magpie points - such a fantastic prize!
Happy scrapping and good luck with the challenge :)
